In Each Location, You Will:
- Obtain a Cummins Diesel Fitter qualification.
- Apply your mechanical knowledge to diagnose and repair engines.
- Demonstrate proficiency in engine maintenance, including disassembly, inspection, troubleshooting, and reassembly.
- Comply with safety procedures and contribute to maintaining a safe and efficient workplace.
What We Are Looking For
- Strong Mechanical Knowledge: Understanding of Cummins and industry standards, with the ability to apply mechanical principles safely and efficiently.
- Proficiency in Repair and Maintenance: Skill in disassembling, cleaning, inspecting, troubleshooting, and reassembling engines.
- Valid Driver’s License: For positions that require it, a valid motor vehicle driver’s license is essential.
Qualifications Required
Education:
- Grade 12 National Senior Certificate (NSC): From a South African school system, with a combination of subjects including Engineering Drawing, Engineering Science, Mathematics, and Diesel or Motor Trade Theory.OR
- N2 (Nated Certificate): With subjects in Engineering Drawing, Engineering Science, Mathematics, and Diesel or Motor Trade Theory.OR
- NCV Level 4 Qualification:This encompasses the Engineering Process, Professional Engineering Practices, Applied Engineering Technology, Automotive Repair and Maintenance, as well as Mathematics.
