What You’ll Do

As a Warehouse Learner at CCBSA, you’ll be exposed to a variety of tasks and responsibilities that will give you a comprehensive understanding of warehouse operations. Your key duties will include:

  1. Receiving and Managing Stock: Learn how to receive stock into the warehouse, maintain accurate stock balances, and ensure the safe delivery of stock to customers.
  2. Picking and Packing: Gain hands-on experience in picking and packing stock efficiently, minimizing damages, and ensuring smooth stock flow through the warehouse.
  3. Administrative Functions: Develop skills in administrative tasks related to stock receipt and delivery, including recording stock movements on the stock management system.
  4. Customer Service: Understand the importance of maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and how warehouse operations contribute to this goal.
  5. Health and Safety Compliance: Learn about Occupational Health and Safety legislation and how to apply safety procedures in the workplace to ensure a safe environment for all.
  6. Teamwork and Communication: Work effectively in teams, improve your communication skills, and contribute to a positive and productive work environment.

Who We’re Looking For

  • Education: A Grade 12 certificate with Mathematics or Mathematics Literacy passed with at least 40%, and two South African languages passed with 40%.
  • Unemployed: You must be unemployed at the time of appointment and between the ages of 18 and 35.
  • South African Citizen: You must be a South African citizen and an Employment Equity candidate.
  • No Prior Qualification: You must not have previously completed the same qualification/learnership at another company or organization.
  • Additional Advantage: A diploma or degree in Logistics or Operations Management is advantageous but not required.
