Key Responsibilities:
As a Merchandiser, you will be the face of Clover in designated stores, ensuring our products are always well-stocked and attractively displayed. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Stock Control and Ordering:
- Monitor and manage stock levels in-store and in back-up storage.
- Implement effective stock control measures to minimize returns and claims.
- Place accurate and timely orders according to the ordering schedule.
- Ensure products are neatly arranged and shelves are well-stocked to avoid out-of-stock situations.
- Product Presentation:
- Maintain clean and attractive product displays on shelves.
- Adhere to store and shelf plans provided by the Area Manager (AM).
- Ensure fridges are properly maintained and stocked.
- Maintain correct shelf sets and PI labels for each product.
- Use point-of-sale materials effectively to enhance product visibility.
- Relationship Management:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with store management, AM, Head Office (HO), customers, and fellow merchandisers.
- Act as a liaison between Clover and the store, ensuring a cooperative and productive working relationship.
- Administrative Duties:
- Keep accurate records of stock levels, returns, and orders.
- Manage and control crates and other equipment according to company policies.
Requirements:
- Educational Qualifications:
- Grade 12 or equivalent National Certificate (NQF4).
- Language Proficiency:
- Fluent in Business English.
- Work Availability:
- Flexibility in scheduling is essential, as you may be required to work at various times, including shifts, weekends, and even on public holidays.
