Key Responsibilities:
- Cleaning Duties:
- Maintain a clean and orderly environment in the laboratory and depot as per established standards.
- Ensure all surfaces, equipment, and areas are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized regularly.
- Properly dispose of waste materials following safety and health guidelines.
- Supporting Laboratory Staff:
- Assist with various ad hoc tasks as requested by staff members.
- Aid in setting up and maintaining a clean workspace to facilitate efficient workflow.
- Client Relations:
- Maintain professional and courteous interactions with clients and colleagues.
- Promote a positive image of Ampath through diligent and respectful service.
- Administrative Duties:
- Perform routine administrative tasks to support the department’s operations.
Requirements:
- Educational Qualifications:
- Minimum: Grade 10
- Preferred: Grade 12
- Experience and Knowledge:
- Familiarity with the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OSHA).
- Knowledge of cleaning processes and best practices.
