About the Learnership Programme

At AFGRI, we believe in nurturing future talent in agriculture by offering a structured, hands-on learning experience. This 12-month Learnership Programme will provide a mix of on-the-job and off-the-job training. As a learner, you’ll work directly at Vastfontein Farm, where you’ll contribute to various activities around crop production and animal care, ensuring you gain comprehensive skills across all aspects of farming.

AFGRI Farmer Development (AFD) is dedicated to making a positive impact, particularly in historically disadvantaged communities. Although this program is open to all South African citizens, priority will be given to women, individuals with disabilities, and other historically disadvantaged groups. What You Can Expect from the Programme
