Purpose of the Role
The primary goal of this role is to provide secure, efficient, and timely driving services to transport goods, ensuring a seamless experience for our clients. As a representative of ACDC Dynamics on the road, you will uphold our commitment to professionalism and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
As a Driver for ACDC Dynamics, you will be entrusted with the following duties:
- Professional Conduct
- Exhibit respectful and professional behavior towards all staff, clients, and customers.
- Uphold the company’s values by acting with integrity at all times.
- Delivery and Collection
- Safely and efficiently deliver or collect orders as directed by management.
- Handle goods with care and ensure the accuracy of orders, verifying items against delivery notes when leaving the premises and upon arrival at delivery locations.
- Manage the efficient dispatching of orders to meet company standards.
- Vehicle Maintenance
- Maintain the company vehicle in pristine condition, ensuring it is clean and roadworthy at all times.
- Compliance and Safety
- Follow all road traffic laws and driving regulations to ensure safe transportation.
- Keep a trip logbook updated and readily available for record-keeping purposes.
- Route Planning
- Strategically plan routes to ensure timely, effective, and efficient service delivery.
What We’re Looking For
- Demonstrated driving experience and a solid reputation for dependability and professionalism.
- Knowledge of road safety regulations and compliance.
- The ability to manage time effectively, especially when planning delivery routes.
- A clean driving record and a current driving licence.
