Job Overview
Job Title: Call Centre Agent (6 Positions)
Location: Meyerton, South Africa (Midvaal Local Municipality)
Annual Salary: R151,420.20 (excluding benefits)
Shifts:
- Day Shift: 06:00 to 14:00
- Afternoon Shift: 14:00 to 22:00
Who Should Apply
This role is best suited for individuals who can communicate clearly, work under pressure, and manage call volumes professionally.
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Call Centre Support, Contact Centre, or Business Process Support Certificate
- Fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English
- Knowledge of IsiZulu or Sesotho is a strong advantage
- Computer literate and comfortable with call centre systems
- Friendly, motivated, and able to handle pressurised environments
- Strong attention to detail and administrative skills
- Knowledge of the Midvaal municipal area is beneficial
- 2 years of experience in a call centre or similar customer-facing environment preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Answer and log incoming calls and service complaints
- Dispatch issues to relevant departments and provide customer feedback
- Enhance the customer service experience through polite, professional communication
- Meet service delivery goals and turnaround times set by the municipality
- Perform additional administrative tasks as requested by management
- Maintain compliance with the Midvaal Service Charter
